Bethany has been a lighthouse to the Bethany community since 1886, when Rev. Asa Avery started the church. Bethany is a conservative Southern Baptist Church, with a blended worship style and Gospel-centered preaching. There are numerous ministries that reach out to the lost community and ministries that minister to current members. There are more activities for kid’s and families to count. Some include: AWANA, children’s church, blast children’s ministries, and Big House children’s ministry. We have a very active youth group, THE MIX, and men’s ministry and women’s ministry. Our senior adults are still active in the church and provide many aspects of leadership within the framework of the church. Bethany is a lighthouse for the Kingdom of God and will continue to be for years to come.
